CIVIC ART BUREAU presents FUTILE FUTURES, an art social during NFSA Fantastic Futures conference, Tuesday 15 October. Bar open from 5pm, event from 5:30pm.

Futile Futures will offer a counterpoint to the notion of a fantastic future for art, aesthetics and ideas by exploring the crappy, absurd and abject dimensions of intelligent machines and tech hype. Featuring performance, disillusion and installation at the Civic Art Bureau in McGregor Hall. The bar will be open serving refreshments for your exhausted intellect and crushed spirit.
