On Tuesday 15 October, 2024 CIVIC ART BUREAU presented FUTILE FUTURES, an art social during NFSA Fantastic Futures conference.

Futile Futures offered a counterpoint to the notion of a fantastic future for art, aesthetics and ideas by exploring the crappy, absurd and abject dimensions of intelligent machines and tech hype. Featuring performance, disillusion and installation at the Civic Art Bureau.
